As we travel down the road of enlightenment in our study on the Book of Revelation, we have been finding jewels of truth to assists us in our everyday thinking. These jewels are priceless because they open an entirely new avenue of understanding. In this teaching we find God is bringing us revelation concerning the names of the tribes of Israel. We learn these names represent the quality, character or nature of life which God is working in us.
It is good to recognize the nature of each of the tribes, for it is God who put that nature in us so that it could be brought to maturity. It is important to notice that each nature has to be worked in us. Don’t let us debase ourselves or others when we see a nature not yet mature but instead we can look forward to overcoming!
Let us carefully weigh what we hear in this lesson for it gives us a measure. Not forgetting we continue to grow in wisdom and understanding all our lives, we may still find areas which need to be formed. Knowing this, it’s ok if we find we have not yet arrived to full age, for Jesus is in the midst of each of his churches regardless of their stage of maturity. (Rev 1 & 2) We know we have the promise that our Father will bring to completion his purpose in us. (Phi 1:6)
Saints, just like Jesus, we are here to do our Father’s will. (Jo 5:30) We know he has purposed all creation to be reconciled to himself and he has given us the ministry of reconciliation.( 2 Cor. 5:18)
