Moses was divinely instructed to build the tabernacle in the Wilderness. It served as a copy and type of the heavenly things that would become manifest upon the earth. God told Moses, "SEE THAT YOU MAKE EVERYTHING ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN SHOWN YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN." (Ex. 25:40, 26:30, 27:8; He. 8:2, 5). In the tabernacle we see the life and walk of Jesus Christ, our High Priest and Deliverer. We also find our own life and walk, as a believer. When one studies biblical types and shadows it is important to stay within the "pattern."

We are starting our journey, with Moses and the children of Israel, though the Tabernacle in The Wilderness. It's exciting as God's light shines on our awareness and his symbols are opened to our understanding. I can only suggest strongly how important this study is for the serious student of God's Word. God uses symbolism throughout his entire Bible and the with Tabernacle Inside/Out series we can learn to interpret the scripture correctly.
