SO13; T10 - The Door In Heaven Opened

TOM904 - Revelation 3:20-4:6a

Although the Bible written many years ago, we still find it a vital word for our lives today. It is important to listen with an open ear so that we might hear what the Spirit would say to each of us today. It is time to shake off old legalistic mind sets and come into God’s mind. A study in the book of Revelation teaches us that we can arrive at a heavenly vision, which cannot be perceived with the natural mind.

Upon finishing chapters two and three we learned that seven churches received an individual letter, with an instruction in it, which said to hear what the spirit said to all the churches. It is here we begin to see what God has chosen for his people. He has chosen ordinary people with ordinary problems and placed Christ in the midst of them.

Moreover, we learn to not become discouraged when we find ourselves in situations. Instead we are to keep pressing on into him. There are promises given to all the church, which is to everyone who overcomes, for God has called us to "overcome," or come over our situations.
