TOM1002 - Isaiah 58

In this month’s tape we learn more about the mystery of God’s will, which is gathering all things together through Christ into himself. This began with Jesus who is the head of a many membered body. It is time that we understand the importance of our placement in the body of Christ. First we must recognize that Jesus finished his part. Now it is time for us to get on with completing our part in the purpose of God. We must say, as Jesus said, “it is time for me to be about my Fathers’ business.” (Lk 2:49).
In times past the gathering of saints together was considered, “being about Father’s business,” but we now know that we gather so that we might be built up to do Fathers business. Fathers’ business is not about meetings, but it’s about touching creation and bringing increase to the body of Christ. Hopefully, meetings teach us that the only way to become part of that which changes the world is to FUNCTION as saviors upon Mount Zion and to bring deliverance to the creation. A key to understanding our part in God’s purpose in found in Isaiah 58 where we learn to lift the yolks of oppression off of creation to set them free.
Let us be one who loves and accepts others so that radiance of our Lord will break forth upon creation!
