My Kidneys Cousel Me. We get counsel because we are not pawns in God's plan but we are Sons and Co-rulers of the universe. The time of looking to a particular individual to give us direction is over. As sons it is our responsibility to discern the truth and then speak that truth.

Like Jesus, we are to be about Father's business, which literally means we are to be like Father. We know that Father desires to save all mankind and to bring everyone to the full recognition of the truth. (1 Tim 2:4)
